DESCRIPTION

CIP Warehouse is located within Conesville Industrial Park, a 2,500+ acre industrial park.

Conesville Industrial Park (CIP) is competitively located in the heart of the Marcellus shale basin. It is located centrally to major consumer market in Columbus, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh and has a labor force of over 630,000 individuals within 50 miles and over 3.5 million within 100 miles. CIP is the former home of the AEP Conesville Power Plant, a 2,200 MW coal fired power station that supplied power and jobs to thousands in Southeastern Ohio. Since its closure, 500+ developable acres has been prepared by the Frontier Group of Companies (owners of CIP). Founded in 2001, the Frontier Group of Companies specializes in the remediation and redevlopment of large scale brownfield sites, including but not limited to power plants, steel mills, paper mills and petro-chemical plants. At CIP, we currently have 60+ in-house employees mobilized to complete remediation, demolition, and earthwork to prepare the site for future development. If a specific plot of land on site needs to be cleared, graded, cut, or filled, we can mobilize our personnel to accomplish this task to meet the demands of the prospect. The site has immediate rail access and has enormous utility infrastructure capabilities in place including high-voltage electricity, industrial wastewater treatment, sanitary sewer package plants, and large water volume capabilities from both river and deep wells on site. The Frontier Group of Companies is committed to assisting communities to help create jobs and economic vitality for the long term. We are a family owned company with in-house experts in the demolition, environmental, legal, and business development space.
